Great Divide Tours have over 10 years’ experience running 4WD tagalong tours into East Arnhem Land and, with special permission from traditional owners, will take you to places that most people never get to visit.
Drive the Central Arnhem Road to the remote mining town of Nhulunbuy and visit the Aboriginal homelands Baniyala, Bukudal and Bawaka (depending on weather conditions and cultural matters). Nhulunbuy has some of the most remarkable natural sites in the country, unknown to most Australians. The tour will also include a visit to Kakadu National Park and Garig Gunak Barlu National Park.
You will get to visit some of the Yolŋu art centres and experience the real East Arnhem Land including sighting crocodiles, beautiful birds, wild buffalo and some of the most impressive coastal scenery in the country.
